Forms, bookings and shop
Forms, Bookings and Shop
Your site is pages, and pages on their own cannot take a message, hold a diary or collect money. Three apps add those, per site. Add them from your site's Apps page.
Forms — from 99¢ a month
A contact form on your site that actually goes somewhere.
Where messages go. Both to your site's Inbox in the portal and to your email, with the sender's address set as the reply-to — so pressing Reply writes to your customer, not to us.
What the visitor sees. Your own thank-you message on the page. They get no email unless you switch one on: Apps → Forms has an acknowledgement you can turn on and write yourself — your subject, your words, sent in your site's name. It is off until you turn it on, because an automatic reply nobody wrote reads worse than none at all. Full walkthrough in put a working contact form on a static site.
Spam. Messages that look like spam are kept and marked, never thrown away. Obvious spam is not emailed to you; borderline ones are forwarded with a line saying why they were flagged, so you can judge.
Kept for 180 days, then deleted. Export the lot as a spreadsheet from the Inbox whenever you like.
| Level | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 99¢ a month | Five forms, 250 messages a month |
| Studio | $4.99 a month | Twenty-five forms, 2,000 messages a month, file uploads |
| Unlimited | $10.99 a month | As many forms as you like, file uploads |
Forms is never included with a design — every site buys it. That is on purpose: a form on a page that has not been paid for would be a form that quietly does nothing, and a contact form that swallows enquiries is worse than no contact form.
Bookings — $2.99 a month
A diary people can ask for a time in. It is a request, not a supermarket checkout: nothing is booked until you say so.
- A visitor asks for a time. You get an email; they see your thank-you on the page.
- You confirm or decline in your site's Diary.
- They get an email either way. A confirmation comes from your business's name, carries a calendar attachment they can add in one tap, and has a link to cancel.
Bookings is included with premium designs. On any other design it is $2.99 a month.
Shop — $3.99 a month
Sell things from your site.
The money is yours and it never touches us. You connect your own Stripe account, and payments go straight into it. Refunds, payouts, disputes and your customers' card details are all on your own Stripe dashboard, in your own name — which is also what your buyer sees on their statement.
We take no cut of your sales.
Orders appear in your site's Orders page. Prices are always taken from your published site rather than from whatever the buyer's browser sent, so a price cannot be tampered with on the way through.
Sales tax and VAT are yours to handle, as they would be with any shop. Order records are kept for seven years, because they are your evidence, not ours.
Shop is included with advanced designs. On any other design it is $3.99 a month.
Turning one off
Remove it from the site's Apps page. The block stops working on the published site; the messages, bookings or orders you already have stay in the portal and stay exportable.
Paying for them
Add-ons ride the same schedule as the site — a yearly site's Forms is billed yearly — and appear as their own line on Billing so you can always see what you are paying for.
Still deciding what your site needs to do? The shorter overview of forms, bookings and orders is a good place to start.
